Paul caught the acting bug at the early age of 6 after watching the first episode of Star Trek. He remembers telling his parents that he wanted to be an actor and that he should play Captain Kirk's son. Paul never got to do that but he did play the Sun in the first grade in his first production. The first monologue he over performed was from Cheech and Chong's, Sister Marie Elephant, in the 6th grade where he memorized all the parts. By 7th grade Paul co-wrote his first play called Four from Russia, a musical which was performed for two showings only from a friend's garage for the neighborhood. His next role in the 8th grade was an episode of All in the Family where he played Edith Bunker for the entire school, with rave reviews.  

Eventually Paul went on to study acting and theater at the University of Arizona and was also given the opportunity to work with the Royal Shakespeare company while he was there. After school he found his first acting mentor. Mark Duke who conducted an intense professional acting Workshop where Paul  was one of the original members for 5 years.
